AWStats and 123LogAnalyzer feature comparison

The following features are what AWStats does not have but 123LogAnalyzer have.

  • 123LogAnalyzer is much faster than AWStats. 123LogAnalyzer can analyze a website log file at 1GB per minute (94,000 lines per second). On an 800Mhz PIII computer running Windows 2000, it can analyze a 625MB log file and generate web stats report in only 37 seconds.
  • Extremely easy to use interface that requires no technical knowledge whatsoever.
    If you run AWStats, you will need quite a lot of technical knowledge, such as the skills to run a UNIX program.
  • Visitor/IP detailed report that tells you who owns specific IP addresses. You can learn from this report that who is abusing your web site.
  • Detailed and acurate visitor country report, not based on Reverse DNS look up, which AWStats uses.
